Dr. Geoff Gjertson, team leader for the BeauSoleil Louisiana Solar Home, accepted a $30,000 donation from the Louisiana Associated General Contractors. The donation came from the LAGCās Education Trust Fund. Team BeauSoleil competed in the 2009 Solar Decathlon against team from across the globe. They placed first in market viability and first in peopleās choice.
