Istre Awarded 2008 Jefferson Caffery Award

Moriah C. Istre of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2008 Jefferson Caffery Award at Āé¶¹AV for her paper entitled ā€œFestivals Acadiens in Southwest Louisiana: A Cultural Expression.ā€ The Caffery Award competition encourages Āé¶¹AV students to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of DuprĆ© Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
